Random Thought #121
Have you ever wondered how babies dream? Do they speak baby language in those dreams? Does everyone speak the same language? Are the characters all 2 feet tall and wear diapers? What kinds of things happen? I think it would be quite interesting to crash a baby's dream. Also kind of makes you wonder how people who speak a different language dream. I bet they dream in their own language and the characters look different. Makes you wonder what dreams are made of. I also found a funny comic that expresses how we seem to take the concept of dreaming in stride despite its awkwardness. Since I've been told I should include a picture of two, I hope you enjoy this one.

When Alex was just born, every now and then, he would wake up crying out loud... It always scared me, I always thought something was wrong. But then, my mom told me that the reason why he was crying was because he lost whatever game he was playing with his friends...or his friends took his toys away--in his dreams :)
ReplyDeleteHowever, according to an article that I read, as babies grow older, they do experience nightmare... I guess that's how, in general, we have "monsters under my bed." They do not have the the capabilities of distinguishing what's real and what's not, at least not yet... That's why there are so many children's book out there about monsters--
Well, I dream about people that are familiar, even if there are some unfamiliar faces, they are there as background--filler to the dream :0 I do not dream very often... It's better. Sometimes, I have bad/scary dreams also :(
